World Steganography Day Proposal
Details for the Date / Time / Time Zone are in the image below
If you can’t identify the Date / Time / Time Zone, just treat every Day / Second / Time Zone, as being The World Steganography Day
Tasks for those Cryptanalysts to perform :
- Download the Random PNG format image, link below, along with the Finger Print Read Map of the Random PNG format image.
- Identify The Date / Time / Time Zone for the proposed “World Stenography Day”
- As it is a Random PNG format image, all the RGB values are actual random values between 0 – 255
- Utilizing the random value for each RGB value in each pixel, identify another pixel which contains a binary value offset from the selected pixel
ie:
- Selected Pixel @ 0 x 172 : RGB = 139 184 245 – Found Pixel @ 2876 x 4712 : RGB = 140 184 246 which is a binary offset value of “101”
- Repeat by selecting all 1,000,000 pixels, and checking all other 1,000,000 pixels for the binary offset values ( Yes, checking itself should give “000” )
Once you have listed all binary offset values, group 3 binary offset values together
ie:
- 001 010 001, which as per the ASCII table below, and zero filled to 9 characters = ASCII Character 81 = ‘Q’ = 1010001 in Binary
- Which really doesn’t help, as The World Steganography Day Proposal, requires a date to be in DDMM or MMDD format ( Note : There is no Time or Time Zone requirement, as it is a Day )
- So regroup 3 other pixels together, so that you actually get a numerical character from 0 – 9, repeat, repeat, repeat so your have a valid date in DDMM or MMDD format.
- Now put the DDMM or MMDD into a list, and increment that list by 1, as you found 1 vote, from the Random PNG image, for that date
- Repeat steps above, until you have exhausted all the 1,000,000 …. binary offset combinations.
- The DDMM or MMDD with the highest number of votes, wins as being the official “World Steganography Day”
